The thing to remember about Mozambique, is that it is an incredibly long and thin country. This is what makes the diversity quite special and sometimes it feels like you are in a completely different country. The coast is pristine and marvels with some of the best bush, beach and diving the world has to offer.
The interior of the country has some of the most uncontrived bush experiences in Africa. Gorongosa National Park has been rated as one of the most ecologically diverse parks in the world. Landscapes comprise of Mount Gorongosa, Lake Urema and it’s rivers, grasslands and forests and not to mention The Great Rift!
Portuguese is the official and most widely spoken language in Mozambique. Although most Mozambicans speak more than one language.

The local currency is the Mozambican Meticais, although most places in Mozambique will accept US Dollars.
